Field Service Technician – Mobile Plant / Earthmoving Equipment

$53.70/hr + Up to $6/hr Bonus | Fully Equipped Vehicle | Consistent OT | Flexible Roster

We're looking for an experienced Field Service Technician / Mobile Plant Mechanic to join a well-established operation servicing heavy earthmoving and mobile plant equipment across Greater Sydney.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled tradesperson who enjoys working autonomously, solving mechanical problems and getting out on the road.

With a fully equipped service vehicle, flexible roster, consistent overtime and a generous hourly bonus scheme, this role offers excellent earning potential without being tied to a workshop.

DUTIES

• Service, maintain and repair heavy earthmoving and mobile plant equipment

• Diagnose and rectify mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults

• Attend breakdowns and carry out preventative maintenance

• Work autonomously across transfer stations and operational sites throughout Sydney

• Complete service reports and maintenance documentation

• Maintain high standards of safety, reliability and workmanship

ABOUT YOU

• Trade qualified Mobile Plant Mechanic, Diesel Mechanic, Heavy Vehicle Mechanic or Plant Mechanic

• Strong experience servicing and repairing earthmoving or heavy mobile plant equipment

• Confident diagnosing mechanical and hydraulic faults

• Previous field service experience highly regarded

• Capable of working independently and managing your workload

• Current driver's licence and full Australian working rights

• Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship

• Willingness to participate in a rotating on-call roster
